Sadly The Pump has closed its doors

The Pump was a reliable option for decent pub fare and consistently great and friendly service.
Sadly the doors were closed for good a few weeks ago. However, I'm looking forward to trying the establishment that is going to open in its place. "El Furniture Warehouse" has already put up some signage saying all food is $4.95 or less.

Great food for a pub

The junction of Bloor & Bathurst is an interesting part of Toronto. The shopping is varied, consisting of one-off small shops. There are restaurants from every culture & and an active music & bar scene.
The Pump isn't a music scene type of bar, but:
- the food quality, price & preparation is a step above what one could expect...
