Finally a somewhat more upscale restaurant in the NW area. Good food. Yes, but keep the music at conversation level, please.
Awesome menu. Awesome kitchen. If you had to dig for a drawback, I suppose it might be the ambience. But then, maybe a lot of people like a "sports" TV in the corner of the "bar". Also, the music is often a bit too loud to allow for pleasant conversation. But then, maybe a noisy "Greek" atmosphere is what some like. Otherwise, an awesome addition to Ranchlands.
I'm so glad this location opened up, because it brings the amazing experience of Broken Plate to so many more people in the NW. This place is fantastic, they always have such good food and it's always consistently good. You won't be disappointed. Opa!! Except that they took my favourite item off the menu, the kleftiko. Please bring it back!! Tch tch.
Not sure whats up with all of the bad reviews! I actually had a great experience here last night. I've driven by MANY times as I live right up the road, but have never had the chance to eat here. This used to be one of our favorite places to go for dinner...last time we went my risotto was raw and they were trying to tell us it was al dente. For the expense of the meal we won't be returning. Really unfortunate, we loved this restaurant but it appears growth of the company killed the quality.
We enjoyed our family dinner here. My kids are just starting to appreciate food outside of the chicken nugget world so we took them to Broken Plate.
