Brewsters crafts the best beer in the business.  We handcraft ales and lagers using only the finest ingredients and each beer is handcrafted in small batched by skilled brewers.  Our kitchen is equally as talented, producing a wide range of delicious and complementary restaurant and pub fair.

Good downtown location, but ...

There are Brewsters all over Calgary and this one has a good downtown location. However, it still has that "original" feel with is more stark pubbish than comfy like some of their other satellite locations. Kitchen might be not quite as good either ... maybe taking it all for granted being here for so long.

Big place, good for groups

If you have a group of people and are looking for a big pub to accommodate you, and you're downtown, this might be a good bet. It's pretty large and you can put tables together, it's not all booths or anything. They have reasonable music, a good drink list (microbrew), but the food is pretty average and not overly flavourful or inspired.

delicious beer choices

This is the only Brewsters I like, maybe because of the crowds, or because it's huge or because they put more money into the decor. They make their own beer, which are all pretty good but try a taste test to find your favourite so you're not stuck with a pint that sounded good on the menu, but really isn't what you wanted.

A great little spot for lunch or some pints. Kid friendly and with a kids menu and decently priced. My go to spot when friends want to meet for dinner. Everything I've tried has been tasty.

I'm not a huge fan of beer but my server has me sold on a lighter beer with belini slush in it. The bartender added some berries and it's just yummy. I wouldn't have thought I'd be drinking a slushy beer with fruit at a Brewsters but I did. Actually I had two and I liked it.

We were last here for a bit of a corporate thing so I got a sample a bunch of the appetizers I may not have ordered... more

Went here for supper and drinks with a bigger group. Service and food were really good. Lots of beer varieties and food options.
