Chef and baker Bill Clay keeps things strictly artisanal for breads and wicked pastries. Vintage levain proofs the sourdough and an on-site mill grinds organic Red Fife, kamut, and spelt. Yummy yummy
July 21, 2014We tried her bread, butter tarts , pecan tarts and cookies. My husband with one bite into the tart said "I am in love " and sighed. They really are that good! This was at a Sunday farmers market. We can't wait to go to her shop next time we are in nanaimo!

June 19, 2014we have been buying our bread here everyday. If you try bread or muffins here you can't buy your bread anywhere else. This bakery makes the best of all that we have found anywhere in Nanaimo

Best artisan bakery

I have had some of the artisan bread, and pastries at Bodhi's. Delicious!!!!!!!!!!
The chocolate croissants are better than the ones I have had in Paris, and the bread is amazing!!!
(The many varieties of sourdough are all excellent) Definitely, the best brownies as well.
(Can you tell that I like chocolate?) Highly recommend this bakery!!!
