Had a terrific Saturday morning breakfast, lots to eat and so reasonably priced too. A good friend and I went there before going to the Seaport Market.
The food is OK but check your dishes before you eat out of them. A friend of mine actually started drinking his tea but didn't notice the un-smudged lipstick marks on the other side of the cup. Could use a bit of work on cleanliness.
The only place in Halifax we could find that just had Clam Chowder Soup (all the other places had Seafood Chowder, but not Clam).
The menu was limited, but they did have lots of seafood. It was a mid-end family dining place. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again, although the food was reasonable and fresh (especially the Calamari)

While visiting Halifax we decided to try this place. Everything was good, had flavor, and reminded me of a meal you would have in someone's home..nothing fancy. On our first visit steak very tasty and tender.
Decided to return the following night for dinner, we had the chicken brochette and the Greek trio plate (stuffed pepper, cabbage roll and moussaka). The best Moussaka I've ever had. The owner told me his Mother in law makes it. Told him he should open this restaurant in Ottawa.
Oh ya forgot...

This restaurant provides great service and super food. Whenever I eat there, I get great seafood without a hassle or a huge bill. All in all, a great experience.
Friendly diner serving traditional Maritime fare, plus Greek and classic favourites. Fresh boiled lobster. Famous in Halifax for its breakfasts. Open daily.
