Could be much better
August 08, 2014Not great food, poor decor, and over priced.It looks trashy and dirty, and I think the owner is stressed and hates criticism.

Great little cafe diner - good food and great character
August 01, 2014We stopped off at Port Alberni for a road trip lunch, walked once around the quay and settled on the Blue Door for first class omelette and coffee. Nothing clever, but good to watch the food being cooked up in front of us, great to see such a squeaky-clean washroom, and a pleasure to be served by ladies who combined... more

Quickly grabbed some takeout

We just needed to quickly grab some takeout and the train conductor had directed us to this cute little cafe. Two lovely women greeted us as we placed an order for takeout. The fries were pretty greasy but hey, they are fries...what do you expect?!
Next time we're in town we'll stop in for a proper sit down meal.
