Great neighborhood spot
Staff are always friendly, the food is above average (pub standards) and the bar is alway full. Nice neighborhood watering hole and I enjoy going there. They have their own brew, "Dog red, dog white...etc" which are pretty decent.

I consider the Black Dog to be my local and I live 35 miles away. Excellent pub quality menu - nice choice of beers - friendly staff and it has a clientele that rivals the guys in "Cheers".
My favourites, Dog Lite beer and calamari from the appetizer menu.

Good pub and food
July 04, 2014We meet friends here periodically for dinner. Now that it is summer they have 2 outdoor patios. One negative is the restaurant when full is very noisy and sometimes hard to hear people at your table.
