No Va Va Voom

High expectations on entry with nice restaurant decor, white table cloths, friendly French staff - but food distinct average. Fresh quiche had no flavones, French fries but not typical thin cut and seemed frozen variety, salad redeemed itself with mustard, mayo dress in and baguette served. Kir too strong - rather than just a hint of Cassis. Disappointing.

The food and presentation were excellent. My wife had the foie gras and the pork. She was very impress. I had the tartar and the beef bourgeois. It was wonderful. Good prices. Great friendly service.
