The Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport or the Toronto Island Airport is a medium-sized airport that connects the Toronto Islands to the rest of the world. The airport was constructed in 1939 as Toronto's primary airport, but was replaced by the Malton Airport and allocated for military purposes. Today, it is one of the busiest airports of the state.
