We went two nights in a row to Bijou, which has a chalkboard menu of beautifully prepared and presented dishes. "Sharkuterie" and a goat cheese/tiny eggplant/mushroom salad were among the appetizers. Superb venison and trout among the entrees. A decent but not terrific wine list featuring Niagara region wines.
We've eaten here on several occasions and our visit in early July was just as pleasant as the other times. I cannot imagine that the other 17 restaurants currently above Bijou in Trip Advisor are superior to this.
