Acolytes praise "every little detail" of this somewhat pricey "bella Italia" nestled near St. Lawrence Market, from the "excellent, classic" cuisine and 1,500-label wine list to the "smiles on the staff" known for its "old-world service"; a "soothing" fountain on the "lovely" back patio has been a guest "getaway" for over 20 years.
The restaurant is stunning - very clean & Victorian inside. I think this would be the perfect place to have a wedding reception. Also, the patio looks cozy & nice.
I came here for summerlicious but didn't like the options so ended up getting the fungi risotto. It was a bit bland. Portion sizes are big. My friend got a gnocchi and I tried some, it was seriously really good! I would recommend... more
Came here for lunch. Beautiful space and patio. Right in my neighborhood. I really want to like this place. But it's just a little bit of a meh to me. I got the lamb chops and house slalad from the lunch menu while my bf ordered from the summerlicious menu. He's happy with the veal... more

I had sea food salad, pasta and tiramisu. we were expecting the salad as normal salad with bit of sea food but turned out to be ALL sea food and it was very delicious. the bread that came with it were also chewy and good. the entree was in a nice portion and all three courses were very tasty. we sat in the patio, where... more
A must go to! They have the most beautiful outdoor terrace in the city (without feeling like you are in the city). Enjoyed fine dining and fine wines. A very romantic spot!
Located in one of the most beautiful buildings in Toronto, the St. Lawrence Hall, upscale Biagio serves mostly classic Italian food; take your pick of the gorgeous dining room (look up at the ceiling) or the intimate garden patio with a fountain. Menu lunch items include homemade ravioli with spinach and ricotta or the homemade tagliolini (ribbon noodles) with fresh tomatoes and basil. Dinner... more
Situated in the beautiful and historic St. Lawrence Hall, Biagio is among Toronto's finer Italian restaurants. Along with a 1500-label wine list, the restaurant has a well-rounded dinner menu that includes a number of risottos and wonderful seafood. Calamari is tender and sweet, and the seafood soup (with mussels, shrimp, clams and scallops) is a shellfish lover's delight. Try taglioline with... more
