The Baker Street Inn stands at the end of the historic downtown area, within easy walking distance of both shopping and dining. Guest rooms are rather basic, but very clean and comfortable.

It is the only hotel of decent accommodation right in downtown Nelson. A short walk will get you to all the restaurants and there are a few very nice places to eat. We had a street side room and the motorcycles outside were noisy until the sidewalks were rolled up.

Cozy place to stay for winter getaways

This hotel is very conveniently located in Nelson, short walk to everything. Big parking lot (very crucial in winter time) as most of us will leave need more room to unload ski/winter gear. Room is very clean.

On the main street in Nelson and close to all conveniences. The rooms were comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. The restaurant located in the building is reasonable and the Sunday buffet is worth drooling over.
