What a lovely surprise
March 19, 2013We were in search of a light lunch in James Bay and had not been to the Bent Mast in years. We heard they had changed ownership of cooking staff or something so thought we would give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised. Feels like home

My friend and I moved to Victoria last summer from Toronto and came across the Bent Mast. Instantly, I felt like I was back at home, in the Annex.
The food is good and getting better with the new chef and the atmosphere is delightful.

A nice pub with an amazing atmosphere

This pub is in a very nice neighborhood (James Bay) and is located inside a historical house, famous to be haunted by ghosts!
The beer is local and it is very good and the food is fairly good and not too expensive.
But the greatness of this place is the friendly and nice service, the way they make you feel...
