Respect and class
I will never return to any restaurant that hangs what looks like its dishcloths from a flag pole pretending they are Canadian flags. Is this lack of respect and class symptomatic of the many problems of the Bent Mast?

I gave this place one star because a half a star wasn't an option .... apologies that this is the first review, but as pubs/bars go in this city then in my opinion if you are walking past the bent mast ... keep walking! There are a few decent beers on draught and merrydale cider, but as for the food .... well, that's enough said. I would love to be more complementary but unfortunately, I can't.... more

Set in a charming old house, the Bent Mast is a warren of different spaces where you can enjoy some fine pub grub, a pint or two, and maybe even a live performance. Regional musicians often entertain here, playing mostly folk, acoustic, Irish and bluegrass tunes.
