Opened June 28, quickly captured the authentic gelato market using old-world handcrafted techniques making all the gelato in the gelateria. Using only the best local or global ingredients all flavors are in season and rotated daily. The only gelateria in Vancouver that uses Avalon organic milk for it's gelato and spring water for it's sorbettos.

Handcrafted varieties are infused for 12 hours with exotic flavours (Thai coconut milk, Tahiti vanilla, saffron and rosewater with pistachio). You can taste a bit of old-world Italy in the gelato, and they use a spatula to load it into the cone—a good sign. Bellagelateria.com

One of my work sites is near this place, so I try to swing by whenever I can (much to the detriment of both my waistline and my wallet). I tried the 2 iranian traditional ice-creams:Akbar Mashti: Very good! Pretty right combinationRose Water: WORNG, too sweet, and the lemon juice drizzeled on top should be diluted! You get a sour attack!
