Do not waste your time on this campground!!!

We should have known not to stay here when we arrived and the owener smelled of B.O (Body odour). He told us how to get to our campsite, and there were about 4 tent sites to choose from and that was it. We picked the cleanest one, that had the least garbage and bottles around it. This one was behind the ravine. We made the best of it, and played mini golf, which was covered in leaves and dirt. We went swimming in the outdoor pool, which wasn't too bad.
We went in town for dinner, and while we were in there, 8 tornados touched down in the area. When we came back, the people beside us in the next campsite were packing up after only being there half an hour. They said they couldn't stand the sewage smell. We had no idea what they were talkng about until we got out of the vehicle. The electrical poles were submerged in rain water. And the smell of sewage was horrible. It was coming from the ravine, directly behind our tent.
The sewage was obviously going in there and overflowed. We lit a campfire to get rid of the smell and went to bed.
In the morning it took us 20 minutes to find the showers as they were not marked. After going in the shower, we decided to never return to this campground again. The showers are COVERED in mould. The women's shower curtain was green. I can't even explain how disgusting it was. Once I saw exactly how dirty it was, I didn't even finish my shower. I got out without trying to touch anything, and we left. The men's shower plugged up and the guy beside my fiance had to jump in with him because it started backing up.
This campground has potential, and maybe was once nice, but the owners do not keep it up. The grass wasn't cut, there was garbage around the campsites, and it was disgustingly dirty. Don't waste your tiome here, and don't bring your childen to a plcae like this.
