VERY POOR!! For better or worst, now at least I know that I and my friend are not alone upon this first visit. The "greet", if you will, we got when we stepped in was, "i'm not opened for browsing, what are you looking for!", someone yelled from nowhere. A few minutes later, before we got to finish looking at what I told her I was seeking, and was prepared to inquire about a purchase on some jewelry, the same lady shouted seemingly only to us, "WE ARE CLOSING! WE ARE CLOSING!"
I would like to think she was the pigeon woman from home alone 2 . She only looks the part :\ this store looked like a fire hazard. Today i walked past it not thinking two cents on this store i smelled old smoke. i looked in and found out as of Jan 24th 2015 it was destroyed by fire. thank gawd it must of been contained and no one was injured near by.
had an incredibly pushy staff member who wanted me to buy something the moment I walked in and threatened me to leave if I "wasn't serious about what I wanted". Please avoid.
I reluctantly have to agree with the negative reviews of this place, for the exact same reasons- the owner is a miserable lunatic.
I say 'reluctantly' because I love the Drive, and had lived on and around it for 20 years on and off; one of my pleasures on a weekend afternoon used to be browsing Beckwoman's to see if something funky caught my eye. Great selection, unique; bought a few items now...
