"How many?" That's how owner Hymie curtly greets customers. Can you blame the guy? He's been dealing with these line-ups since 1942. Bacon and eggs and all the fancy fixins served up to haggard club kids and yuppie couples with Prada-clad kids. All stainless steel, blue vinyl and attitude.

LARGE portions. Excellent price value ratio. The food is far from high end but very good. The pancakes are fantastic! The setting is quaint and has a american dienr feel to it. Could be cleaner though. They give open butters that had dust in it, just ask for the closed ones.

Horrible. I can't believe I waited half an hour for such bad food and bad coffee. This place is way overrated. You probably ate purridge all your life if you appreciate Beauty's. There are so many better places for breakfast in Montreal. I feel sorry for tourists that are misguided.

This long-lived Jewish deli has been feeding Montréal well for over 50 years. Family-owned, the small place pulls in a wide variety of dedicated locals, who come for the terrific breakfast fare, including bagels, omelets (try the spinach!), sweets, and even chopped liver. Weekends, especially Sundays, are often crowded, but if you're prepared for the wait, you're in for some terrific food. And... more
