They have a $50 or $100 minimum.
WOW, i have been buying my steel from Bayview for 2 years.
Today i placed an order, the same order i placed 3 months ago.
The first time they priced the material, cuts, and the brakes at $250 give or take, this time it was $600. I asked why the vast change in pricing, he started acting like a little boy that just got caught, he did not know i had ordered in the past. He then told me well it is very expensive to shear cut metal.
This was 20GA Sheet cut in to 5 sections.
This sucks, but I'm driving to Oakland from now on, and that sucks, another small biz getting Fed by greedy AH

They have a $50 or $100 minimum.
As long as you can meet that, you will be treated as kindly as you could possibly expect a huge metal yard to treat you.
They have all metals at almost all gauges and specifications.
