The Bay Centre is named after its new anchor store, Hudson's Bay Company. Although now owned by American interests, Canada's oldest department store still sells everything from housewares to cosmetics and the classic (and expensive) Hudson's Bay woolen point blankets. Nice mall in Downtown Victoria. It's not too big, which means you can get through the mall pretty quickly, but there's a lot of restaurants nearby that are really nice. All the individual stores inside the mall have a good amount of store space, so you won't feel crowded while shopping. Although I haven't tried the food at the food court, the drinks there (like bubble tea) are pretty good.
It's a nice mall. It's near downtown and it's just walking distance. There are nice stores that you don't see in the US. I enjoyed going around this mall.
I usually try to avoid malls, but I really enjoyed this one! It's not too big, not too small. The stores are really great in it as well! I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys shopping.

The Bay Centre is the only shopping center in downtown Victoria. It covers one full city block in the center of town and has a mix of over 90 shops. The top floor houses the food court while the bottom level has family dining with a patio overlooking Government Street.
