We just got back from a vacation in Thailand and were looking for food that was as good as on our trip. The food at Bangkok Thai Restaurant hit the spot and we will go back frequently. This restaurant is not about the atmosphere, it is simply about good Thai food. And very reasonable priced.
Located in a beautiful courtyard at the corner of Osborne and River, this elegant second-floor sunlit room is the perfect setting for exotic Thai dishes served on elaborately decorated silver tableware. Lunch Mon-Fri 11:30 am-2 pm; dinner Sun-Thu 5 pm-9:30 pm, Fri & Sat 5 pm-10:30 pm. Entrées: $7-$14. LP. Cards: IA, MC, V.
Bangkok Thai's attractive second floor dining room is but one aspect of the restaurant's success. The other is an extensive menu of traditional Thai dishes, all served family style, which makes sharing a breeze. Try the pad Thai, Bangkok Thai curry tofu, squid pad phed or Thai barbecue ribs.
