Neat train ride. Discount for seniors and youth.... Train ride takes u thru the park... Helped give us an idea with what to see and do... Perfect for young kids due to having a large playground. Map /pamphlet helps to decide what route to take.

It is full of information, and things you can touch and feel. It is a mainly outside museum, very effective- even a working-steam train and all!

There isn't anything to dislike. The train is great for old and young alike. Great picnic area. There are great displays of the logging history in the Cowichan Valley. I highly recommend this as one of your stops while in Duncan.

British Columbia's forestry industry has a long and rich history. The BC Forest Discovery Centre includes a variety of exhibits, heritage buildings and logging artifacts. Surrounded by forests and marsh trails, there are many opportunities for bird watching. Visitors can also ride historic locomotives on the three kilometers (1.8 miles) of train track in the park.
