Augusta House is the newest venture from the former owner of White Orchid on Dundas (now Zed), and just like White Orchid, the parties are eclectic and run the gamut from Hip Hop to Disco and Retro and everything in between.It's in the middle of the market, which keeps out the tourists and the rif raf. Came here last night with some pals for Reality Bytes. It's your usual hole in the wall, but is still super fun!

Free cover before 11:00 pm and shots are $3.50. It's been mentioned by a few Yelpers; the sound system isn't that great and the DJ'ing is definitely amateur, but Augusta House was still fun-times. Great night dancing to hits from the 90's; will definitely be back for the next RB night.

We were looking for a 90s party and ended up with a buffet of free food. Not a bad deal. Apparently us keeners showed up way too early for the party and ended up crashing a video screening. We got to see a bit of a funny web-series and stuff ourselves with free sandwiches that seemed to be in never ending supply. When the party started finally I was a little underwhelmed. The night was awesome!! Had a super time.

Reasonably priced beer!! I drink Corona and @ 6$ each it was easy to get nice and lubed up.

VERY busy bar...I would maybe add another considering the space they have?? Even a small one??

Their bank machine did not work (thankfully the next day) and really really aggravated me.

Being in Kensington, it's a prime local and I love it there.

Will go back.
