This is a nice hostel with a great rate of $25/night. I stayed in a 4 person room with a shared bathroom. It was very clean and comfortable. I went to Montreal as a tourist. Auberge Maeva isn't near most of the museums and tourist sites but it's right near a subway stop. Plus, there are a lot of nice restaurants nearby, as well as Mont Royal.
