Located on the riverfront in Old Montréal, the 27-room Auberge du Vieux-Port has shabby-chic charm in spades. Exposed brick or stone walls, casement windows opening onto the St. Lawrence River (ask for that view), wood floors, and brass beds make it all romantic; wireless Internet, a glass of wine a day, and inclusive full American breakfast are just candy. Many rooms have Jacuzzis; all have... more
Get a massive dose of 19th century charm at this cozy inn overlooking the old port. Despite being... more

The hotel is perfectly situated in Old Montreal and along the waterfront, a truly outstanding location. Plus the hotel's public. There is a nice balance of elegance and warm charm to the hotel -- overall the hotel's public areas and room are classy.

The location is superb for walking the riverside as well as shopping and restaurants. I'm not sure there is a side...

The rooms were lovely and in keeping with the local flavour. The staff were wonderful, both helpful and accomodating.
Only one problem. We didn't want to leave!
