This is one of the few reviews I have written...and my husband and I have traveled around the world. The Auberge des Eaux Vives had us as we walked in the door--"twice" ! In fact, I reserved our room for the 2nd stay as we departed from our 1st visit. We loved it just that much.

Spectacular: the location looking over the small harbour of Cap a l'aigle and the St. Lawrence, the breath-taking sunrises over the river, the comfort and cleanliness of the room and of the auberge, the superb and delicious multi-course breakfasts of Johanne, and the extremely accommodating and helpful host, Sylvain.
The Auberge des Eaux Vives was well-named: it is perched on the banks of the St. Lawrence River at a spot where several streams come down through the rocky hill-side to join the river. Quelle belle fin de semaine nos avons passée. Notre chambre était très douillette avec de petits luxes dans la chambre de bain :0) Vue très belle! L'endroit était très relaxant et confortable. Les hôtes avenants et respectueux. Déjeuner superbe!!! Nous avons fait de très belles marches le long du fleuve. Très, très bien!!! Rob et Johanne Millar Bref, c'est mon avis et je le partage !
