Writing in Vancouver magazine way back in the early 1990s, James Barber called Ashiana's "undoubtedly the best Indian food in the city." Good food, awkward atmosphere
July 09, 2014We went to Ashiana last night, for the dinner buffet. It was good and everything was tasty. Their butter chicken was fantastic. Ashiana Tandoori - closed! Moved to Surrey
September 16, 2012Ashiana Tandoori was our favourite Indian restaurant in Vancouver, but it closed the summer of 2012 and moved to Surrey (8072 Scott Road Surrey, BC). The Best food ever with excellent service

I had the best meal I have ever eaten. There were three of us so we ordered different appetizers, main courses and breads. Each and every one of those was "beyond my wildest dreams". The restaurant is out of city centre, but it is definitely worth visit!
Service was excellent and very friendly.Also the prices were affordable.
