This art gallery first opened in 1914, but it was only when it reopened its doors in 2005 that it became one of Hamilton's greatest attractions. January 22, 2013Never been to the remodeled AGH and was very impressed. Lobby to exhibit halls to bathrooms, the whole place shows pride of design and workmanship. very well though out halls.

A hidden gem
January 20, 2013While it is right downtown and across from a major hotel, it would be easy to miss this destination as it has not much street presence to grab a motorist. Easy parking, lots of nice restaurants nearby and the art displays are trendy with an eye to a broad public appeal in a city where the art scene is growing... more

December 28, 2012I wanted something to do to entertain my parents who were visiting so we went to the gallery and it was nice. They have a great gift shop that has some truly unique, funny, fascinating gifts and decorations.
