Awful Service

This place used to be good. New owners took over last year, however. I have used this service three times, and each time my drycleaning was not ready when I went to pick it up, despite the fact that my receipt gave me a day and time to come and get my item. None of these were rush jobs, either. I always drop drycleaning off 4 or more days in advance of when I want something. I thought maybe they were still getting their groove, being new, so I still continued to give them a chance.

Most recently, I had a fancy event to go to and dropped off a dress to be drycleaned in advance. I told them I needed it the day before the event, knowing this problem, and told them I had a party to go to and it was very important. Again, when I went to pick it up, it was not ready. They told me it would be available the next night, when the event was . . . I got very angry with them and told them they should at least call customers if items will be late, since this would mean multiple trips to the cleaner. They barely apologized, and did not offer a discount or to drop it off for me. I was late to the event because the dress was not ready early enough, and I had to make another trip to the dry cleaners.

I will definitely not be back. Clearly they do not need customers, or they would be embarrassed by this.

Lucky for me, there are a handful of other dry cleaners in the neighbourhood!!
