I went to Angelo's yesterday with a friend. I think the food is OK, but not extraordinary. The prices are good if you take the daily special (I had the penne pomodore for 7$). The ambiance is nice. Overall, I'm not gonna return there but I had a great time and recommend it if your around the area.
Located on a fairly quiet side street (Rue Crescent), this lovely little place offers both terrace and white table cloth dining. The grilled shrimp and beef carpaccio hit the bullseye. Great flavors and presentation. Our main courses were fetuccini alfredo; veal saltimbucca and grilled veal chop. They were all exceptional. The wine list was very good. Went here with co-worker for dinner on a work night. Tables were open so luckily we didn't have to wait. Service was great, one of the owner showed us the around and took care of us which I loved.
