Locally inspired cuisine set in a casual bistro atmosphere. Alta Bistro's intimate bistro setting is small and off the track in Whistler's village, but is busy and lively, so reservations are a must
Went there for Christmas dinner and had a great dining experience with Alta. We ordered Elk Tartar and Foie Gras Parfait as appetizer, an extremely delicious dish that totally worth to try. For main course we had Christmas special dinner and Alberta Steak. The creative combination made the dish become unique and unforgettable. Highly recommend!
Great experience.
Waiters were really friendly and attentive. They were really well informed about the sourcing of their food.
My girlfriend considers it a top 5 restaurant experience and she's gone to many Michelin star restaurants. So good on you!
As a family we ordered all of the main course dishes and did it family style with a bunch of the apps as well. Highly recommend the sablefish.
