Food was good and prepared hot and the service was good. However, the internal noise, smell from the 'see it kitchen' coupled with the dump trucks and gravel trucks rolling up and down the street had me shaking in my seat literally.
When you're looking for an experience and a dish that has been created with care! You are looking for Allegro, it was a real treat!

You have to get the gnocchi gorgonzola...extremely soft and absolutely delicious. The portion size is very generous but leftovers are just not an option when they're that good! Owner was friendly but not intrusive.
Had not been to Allegro in years. Sat on the patio. Brandi, our server was excellent. Food had wonderful flavors. Try the potato soup over the mushroom soup. Sea bass was fantastic as was the veal. Very relaxing evening. Just remember you are beside 50 so you will hear the traffic, but overall patio is a nice little getaway. oh... more
