Would not recommend at all
The grooming is terrible. The management is the worst ever. I told the groomer not to shave my dog and I came back to pick her up and she was shaved. The groomer felt bad and tried to resolve the situation but was very poor at doing so (nice on the phone but not so nice in person infront of her boss). The owner called me after I wrote an e-mail and said I would get the next groom free if I wanted to try them again (nothing was said about a time limit). I decided to try them again at a later date and then the owner said, I meant a free groom to fix up the previous groom within the next week or so (now tell me, how are you going to fix a shaved dog, put extentions on her?!?!) The owner spoke down to me and basically blamed me for everything. I actually had to walk away from her because I was getting very angry and she said "I'm not finished talking to you". Also, my dog was attacked when she came out from her groom the first time by a store dog (some are nice, but if they are not, they should not be allowed to run around the store).
I told a co-worker about my experience and how mad I was since I gave them a second chance and she said that she had a friend that use to use them as well for grooming but does not anymore. Her friends situation was that her dog fell off the table while they were grooming the dog and All creatures great and small was mad at them and tried to get them to pay for equipment that their dog damaged during its fall off the table. (Since this is a second hand story, it may not be true but from my experience I would believe it)
They are also the only dog store in cobourg, that I'm aware of that makes you mail in for your free bag of food.
The store also does not have a good name as it leads you to believe that they have all pet supplies but they actually only have dog and cat stuff.
Basically I would not recommend this store to anyone and you could not pay me to go back there. There is a groomer in Colborne that is way better then this place and know what they are doing and actually seem to care about their clients!!
