Two years ago I had a male kitten who was getting amorous with my older female cat. She was not happy with the situation and I wanted to get the little guy fixed so that he wouldn't bother her. I called several vets, none would do the operation on a 4 month old kitten and I needed to have a few shots and wait a month or so before they would fix my kitten. That was not an option since my older cat was very unhappy with the sexual advances. Then I called Alberta VS and talked to a very smart sounding man with a russian accent. He old me they could do the job, with out the hassle and wait. I book an appointment and brought my cat in. The place appeared clean and had a strong smell of urine, that I got used too relatively quickly. I met the russian man who told me he was a vet in russia and the canadian authorities would not let him be a vet so he was assisting the doctor. While examining my cat they discover he had ear mites and fleas. The sold me treatments for each and I followed their recommendation. Everything went as planned and I was happy. The neutering cost exactly what I was told on the phone and my kitten recovered fully.
If you only need vaccinations or minor problems he's fine. No Frills Vet.

I was told "sorry we are busy but you could bring her in tomorrow". I was... more
This is an excellent veterinary clinic.
I will not dress it up though, the office is not much to look at and doesn't have that gross antiseptic smell!! The Veterinarian Dr. Felix is a bit curt and not overly friendly. The office hours are sometimes a bit of a guessing game! He's usually not there in the afternoon, we usually go on a Saturday morning.
This is not why we take our dog here.
