On WCB. $430 behind and they will repo vehicle
I am or should I say was on on my second vehicle purchase from Mac James in Red Deer. I paid the first vehicle off and was working on the second one. Original loan on the second was $11,000. There is $4000 owing. I was injured at work and am currently waiting for the WCB claim to go through. I missed a payment 6 weeks ago that was paid last week, but at this time I am behind two bi-weekly payments.....So imagine my surprise when a repo guy showed up to take the vehicle back. I didn't answer the door and until this gets resolved the vehicle is sitting locked in a friends garage. The vehicle is worth $2000 as it's a lemon, and there is $4000 owing and they want to repo it and then take me to court for the difference and their 'fees'? Like I wrote, this is the SECOND vehicle I have bought from them. Thats 5 years without a missed payment. At the time the repo guy showed up, would have been 28 days from the first missed payment.....As the other reviewer said, KARMA.

NEVER go to these people!!!!!!! They DO harass you every chance they get and Beverly Leslie will threaten to have your car taken away any and every chance she gets and for whatever reason she feels like! They will not only send you letters every day they also send them Express Post! Over and over and over again. Even if all of your payments are made and your insurance is intact. They claim you have missed payments although you haven't so you end up going to your bank and having them fax confirmation of payment to Beverly Leslie. They have done this twice and said we'd missed 2 payments each time when we had NOT missed any!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't recommend this company to anyone!! Bev at alberta auto credit is the rudest person I have ever dealt with!! Ignorant!!! No matter how desperate you are don't go through these guys....they will continuously harrass you from day 1....then whenever they feel like it they will take the vehicle away!! Karma will get you Bev....Have a NICE DAY!!!!!!
