One Saturday night, Messiah was turning out a fresh, French-inspired take on diner fare.

I saw ACME on W Hastings as I passed by it on the bus. I had my first check in my hand my hand. I was holding it like a kid who holds a lolly in their hand for the first time
Ordered "Quiche of the day", it came with small cup soup and salad. The soup was not warm enough but after reheating turned out it is just wonderful. Not too salty, lots flavor from chicken stock. Perfect for a chilly day. Quiche was perhaps bit too creamy and runny, but okay. I'm not sure if they're making salad dressing by themselves or using ready made, but anyway, liked their salad... more
