Come hungry because the appetizers are to die for. The charcouterie platter is better than any I've had in Paris and the duck breast is fantastic. Bring your own wine but make it a local one from Jordan, Vineland, Beamsville or Grimsby or you'll get stung extra in the corkage fees. The upside is that the best wineries in Niagara are in the neighbourhood. Servings are plentiful and the 3-course price fixe is only 29.00. You'll pay double that for this calibre of dining anywhere else.
I called today and received a message saying the owner has taken a corporate position and the bistro is closed. Alas, another small place with quality food has left the scene.
I consider this place to be a casual diner/bistro. The food is great, the service is okay (we came just as they were opening and thought that the servers were a bit distracted). We came for a late lunch/early dinner and thought the food was very good.
