Best smoked meat on the west island
The Schwartz's influence is obvious. The restaurant is is simple and the food is excellent.

Ok si vous parlez anglais. Pas moyen de se faire servir en français. La nourriture était bonne mais tout est arrivé dans des petites assiettes séparées parce que l'avais commandé à la carte. Je n'ai pas eu de salade de choux avec mon smoked meat.

Abie's Smoked Meat & Steak Reviews
July 31, 2007This is our favourite place in the world for smoked meat sandwiches. It doesnt have the cultural flavour of Schwartzs in the Jewish quarter of downtown Montreal but it has all the taste and much easier access. The restaurant is located in one of the many strip malls along boulevard St-Jean in suburban Dollard-des-Ormeaux.

Can not comment on the ambiance as I only took out. Smoked meat was terribly dry and tasted like corned beef hash. My mother still loves it, but then it is easy to chew. This taste like non-Montreal style smoked meat. And Montreal is famous for the best! Nuff said?

Awesome smoked meat. They give you the option of lean, medium or regular cut. The fries are incredible. Service is very friendly and the value is great.
