Best smoked meat on the west island
The Schwartz's influence is obvious. The restaurant is is simple and the food is excellent.

Ok si vous parlez anglais. Pas moyen de se faire servir en français. La nourriture était bonne mais tout est arrivé dans des petites assiettes séparées parce que l'avais commandé à la carte. Je n'ai pas eu de salade de choux avec mon smoked meat.

March 01, 2013While the non smoked meat items are all delicious, unfortunately the quality of the smoked meat had deteriorated in recent years. A source had told me that they have cut corners in terms of the quality of the beef being used. I also buy their cold meat And it is now usually tough and sometimes not smoked enough. And Costco display cases up front ?? Old deli style counters removed ??? No longer... more

February 08, 2013Tried Abie's for the 1st time last night. Although the service was great and the food came out quickly, the smoke meat just didn't cut it for me. The medium smoke meat had so much fat on it, I'm scared to order the fat. Overall, smoke meat lacked flavor. Wouldn't go back.
