I got my life back!!!

About a year ago I decided to do something about my allergies. I was allergic to Pollen, Dust, Moulds, Trees, as well as many Fruits and Vegetables. I went to an allergist and was told I would need to get weekly allergy shots for around 5 years and there was no guarantee that it was going to work. I wasn’t sure how safe that will be while I am pregnant, which was in the plans for the next year or two. I decided to look for a safer alternative.

I stumbled onto AAE and made an appt. During the first appt. we discussed my allergies and started working on various sugars (which was in some of the foods that I was allergic to). I didn’t notice any difference, as I usually avoid the foods that I have not been able to have for most of my life. I was also a bit sceptical, since there were no drugs or shots to take. I didn’t fully believe it would work, but I decided to give it another try.

The next appt a week later, I asked if we could work on non-avoidable things like mould and pollen and dust. We worked on dust. That night, I stayed at a friend’s house, who have a cat (another allergy), so I was very congested. The next day, I started to clean the house (which usually ends up with me coughing and having trouble breathing). I finished and was surprised that everything was fine. So, I moved on to do Laundry. Usually it ends up with the same reaction. I was fine. I went from taking daily prescription allergy medication to not taking anything. Spring, aka Hay Fever season, came and went without the need of my medication.

It’s been over a year and I haven’t had any issues. I decided to return to AAE to work on the various food allergies. I now eat apples, pears, cherries, kiwi, carrots, beans…. All these delicious foods that I’ve been missing.
