Sushi here was good as well as the Teppanyaki. This place served food which reminded me of Vancouver. Large menu and price was reasonable.
Quality of sashimi is much better than the average sushi bar in Markham/Richmond Hill. You could actually tell that the fish was what they said it was. For what we paid we could have easily gone to an all-you-can-eat place but we wanted to enjoy our food and see what we were eating. I would go here again for a special event.
DISHES TRIED: Sashimi boat C (excellent), fried oyster maki roll (not much taste), from happy hour menu (excellent): edamame, spicy sushi pizza, tobiko sushi, yam tempura, green tea ice cream and fried banana
SPECIAL NOTE: Happy hour menu between 5 and 7 pm, $1 per item on the order sheet
Had Dinner there last night, now called Fushimi and was quite impressed. Service was good, if at times slow. It was all you can eat. The food was really good! Will definitely go again.
The taste of Japan never disapoints you and its found close to the Monte Carlo Inn on Markham Rd where I always stay.
I was there yesterday, however, it is now operating as Fushimi. It is still a tepanaki / sushi restaurant. I will post my review when Fushimi is listed by tripadvisor.
