Best Collateral Loan Shop in the City
I found myself in a very difficult situation one day. I was really tight for cash. I visited A1 and needed to borrow $150. All I had was an Xbox 360 with 2 ok games. My paycheck would be arriving soon, so all I need was a loan for one week.
I asked the tellers to borrow $150, but was disappointed to find out that the going rate for Xbox's these days are around $80. Nevertheless, I described why I needed the money and promised them that I would be back in a week to pick up.
I was very impressed when the tellers empathised with me and took me to my word. I was not able to borrow $150 but $130 instead. $50 more than the going rate. Being a man of my word, I came back and picked up the item five days after, as soon as my cheque came in.
What a great shop. Most other pawnshops would tell me to get lost, while A1 really helped me out.
You rock A1!
Amazing Store
Its not what you expect. Do not let the loan part of the name deter anyone from visiting A1. The staff and products are exceptional.
FYI: I once had a dispute regarding a malfunctioning MP3 Player. I visited the store 1 week after my purchase and described my problem with my MP3 player. The staff was very accomodating and helped me trade it for another item with no headach. Most shops, even future shop, demand receipts. Since these guys work there pretty much every day, they recognized me and helped me out, even without the original receipt.
AAA shop. Best shop on the drive !

June 15, 2010I've dealt with them for years and as long as you've maintained a good credit with them, they'll go beyond to always do what they can to help you out. A-1 trade and loan
May 14, 2009Great secured establishment. They screen people entering the room making it safe to be inside the Lots of items including guitars. The 2 grown up children are cool but the Dad needs to chill a little.
