!!!!! Do not buy a car here ever !!!!!

I am a single female. I have bought cars in the past but not very often, maybe 3 times, new and used. Never have I been treated like this.
After doing some research on the internet, I choose to go to this dealership because they had 3 new demo's with only 500 kms on them for about $3000 less than the MSRP. (I also priced what a brand new one was through their website.) Once at the dealership, I was not greeted by anyone so I walked in and spoke to the person right inside the door. Big Mistake! He is at that desk for a reason. He is the best salesman they have! In other words, the best SCAM ARTIST! I told him I wanted to look at the demo models that were advertised on the internet. He told me the price on the internet was the cash price and if I wanted to finance it, it would be $1000 more. ??? #1!
Then he proceeded to insult me further, by saying that for a few hundred more, I could pick the colour I wanted. I told him I did not care about colour at which point he said we should go outside and look at some of the cars. I thought I would be shown a demo but instead was shown all the different colours, while still telling him I did not care about the colour. I was never shown a demo model. Then I was asked how much I could afford a month. All the numbers I had worked out were large numbers but the salesman kept coming back with monthly figures to purposely trick me. At this point we discuss some monthly figures and then he asks if I would be trading my vehicle. I said I would and he asked for the ownership. No price for the trade in was discussed but I assumed that he needed the ownership to run a check on the vehicle before it was accepted as a trade in. He also asked for my Visa and when I told him I wouldn't be paying for anything by Visa, he told me he still needed the card. He returned with just a photocopy of my ownership and my Visa??? We continued to discuss "monthly prices" and I told him that I wanted a good deal and I didn't want added options. So he worked out some prices and came back and said he would throw in tint and free service for a year. I agreed after he showed me how much I would saving. On to the finance office. ANOTHER SCAM ARTIST! After discussing Rustproofing, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance and Extended Warranties and saying at least 3 times that I did not want them, I was still being given numerous numbers and was told ways in which I could afford them. ???
To the point that I felt bullied and just said go ahead and add them. The bill of sale is then printed. The full price of the vehicle was charged, there was an addition for a "tire and nitro pkg" for $900 that is "not optional" and was never discussed with me but apparently I was given a great deal even though "by law" they could not show the discount on my invoice. There is also a "SEC pkg" charge of $1000 that is "not optional". In addition to all this, I was only given $500 for my trade in. For some reason the bill, need to be reprinted and the trade was then changed to $300. By this time, I was so upset and said I wanted to see the salesman and have him explain these things. I was told just go ahead and sign and then he will talk to you. I did sign after some stalling tactics were used and left the dealership feeling raped! They kept saying what a great deal I got because they discounted the "non-optional" pkgs, added tint and free service for a year. The way I see it, I was tricked and scammed into paying more than full price for the vehicle. I should have walked out, better yet, I should have never gone in. Do your research at car buying tips.com. Read all of it and you will not fall for these dealer scams like I did. If you feel like you are getting scammed, you are, walk out!!!

Getting worse and worse

I used to have good experience with Ontario Mazda. That's why I went back to them and I leased a new car from them. However their overall quality is not what it used to be anymore. The last straw. They rotated my tires and right after that one of the tires started making this knocking noise. Unfortunately I was too busy to go back immediately. At the next oil change I explained this issue to the sevice rep, and he blamed it all on my driving style. He said that they have to realign the tires. He refused to listen to my arguments that I am a very careful driver and so it would be impossible that I have caused this issue. After a long argument, I gave up and I paid for the alignment. The noise didn't disappear. I went to a private mechanic who checked the wheel and told me that I have a bent rim. I wonder now whether the dealer has replaced my good rim with a defective one when they rotated the tire. That adds up to the previous constant attempts from the service department to make me do work which was not necessary, and to change the oil every 4k when the car manual states that I have to do it at 8k. Raul, their best and nicest sales rep which I've dealt with in the past, moved to Mississauga Mazda. There is no reason for me anymore to go to Ontario Mazda anymore. Ever. I love my car. Too bad that such people diminish the pleasure of owning it.
