October 31, 2007I was shocked to find that someone had submitted such a comment about my favourite place to stay in Calgary. I have stayed at 11th Street B&B two to three times a year for the past six years and have long considered it my Calgary home.

Misrepresented
September 30, 2007The website presents this property as "quality and comfort" with "renovations offering optimum comfort" and also "shared bath" which actually meant shared between 8 rooms! Parking is non-existent after 7 am and we felt uncomfortable leaving our vehicle out overnight in this part of town. The rooms were clean but the lighting in the hallways was quite dingy. Gay but not friendly
September 18, 2007Nice enough early 20thC house in an area of predominantly non-descript apartment buildings. Though only a few blocks from trendy "Uptown". The decor is rather faded "Granny camp". Only ever met one of the owners, John who has to be the most unfriendly B & B owner I've ever met! They don't seem to like the Brits or Yanks but are happy enough to take their money.
